To minimize waste, we encourage you to properly recycle our product packaging whenever possible!
The following are general guidelines for doing so. Please refer to your municipal recycling guidelines to ensure conformity based on the recycling codes printed on our packaging.
Outer cardboard boxes: Can be recycled like any standard paper or cardboard boxes.
Product lids: Polypropylene Plastics (Recycling Code 5) are accepted by most recycling programs that accept plastics like yogurt tubs, medicine bottles and re-usable microwavable containers.
Product wrapper and inner seal: Due to the need to retain moisture of inner contents, the materials used for our wrappers and inner seals are classified under Recycling Code 7, which is not always accepted by recycling programs. If not, the product wrapper should be separated from the lid and disposed of in the trash. We’re working on this one!
